DELTA 2 offers effective ventilation at two pressure levels which increases its efficacy in assisting the respiratory function, whether in spontaneous ventilation only (S mode) or delayed spontaneous ventilation (ST mode). The trigger algorithms maintain synchronization with patient ventilation, even in the event of leakage.

For increased patient comfort, DELTA 2 is low-noise and incorporates the suitable humidifier module, HUMIDYS.

The trigger sensitivity setting allows a wide adaptation range according to the patients' condition, allowing very flexible use of DELTA 2.

The setting and alarm systems guarantee safe patient ventilation. The maximum inspiratory time and minimum frequency settings protect patient ventilation. The power cut and (disengageable) patient disconnection alarms and the backup battery ensure continuous ventilation.

Detailed patient observation is carried out using the BORA Soft program for treatment data analysis and using the Direct Observance program for data archival and transmission to the attending physician.
